We have finalised the upgrade process and will be rolling it out this evening (UK time) between 9:30pm and 12:30am. During this period, search may be unavailable for a time. Also, please do NOT upload any new proofs during this period. If you do, they may not be correctly indexed for search, which means search will never work for that proof. After the upgrade is complete, you will be able to search all your proofs as normal.

The search feature within proofs relies on a service called ElasticSearch. We've been told by the company who provides our ElasticSearch service that they'll be taking our servers offline for upgrades on 28 June, and we currently don't know how long it will take to restore search functionality. This issue could persist for many days, even a couple of weeks, and we're sorry about this because we know a number of you do use this feature.
We're actively working on the upgrade process and hope to have search working again as soon as possible. Unfortunately, although our provider claims to have given advance notice of this action, we didn't receive any notifications, which has left us with a very short time to deal with a significant change to our infrastructure. I'm very sorry that we may not be able to provide the search feature you've been used to but we are working to ensure that any interruption is as short as possible.
